About Tim

Howdy! My name is Tim Prussic; welcome to my blog, Providence. This blog will have posts regarding theology and personal development. I am proudly a Reformed Presbyterian, but more fundamentally, I’m a Christian. I try to draw on the long and glorious Christian tradition in my posts. So, if you’re into getting to know God better, learning more about Christian history and thought, or bickering with a Reformed guy, please make comments. When I’m on my game, I post about five times a week, maybe a little more. I try to keep posts short, pithy, and amusing (if possible). One more thing, please subscribe to this blog. I work hard to make the posts enriching and edifying. A subscription will make sure all that goodness gets right to you.

Okay, personal stuff: I’m married to the wonderful Maile, and we have Calvin Cody (7), Anuhea Justice (5), Anselm Israel Richardson (3), Ambrose Immanuel (1), and Mahalani (TBA!). We live in Scappoose, Oregon, and are members of the Columbia Bible Presbyterian Church in the same town. In November, 2011, the congregation at CBPC called me to be their pastor.

I was a Liberal Studies major (and Music minor) at Western Washington University. I earned both the M.Div. and M.T.S. degrees at Western Reformed Seminary in Tacoma, Washington. Before receiving the call to pastoral ministry, I worked for seven years in transportation and logistics, and I ran a business that focused on online business development and affiliate marketing.

I pray my meditations are of value. Please visit often get to know me. You can find me on Facebook and @timprussic on Twitter… not even to mention Google+.
